Over the last 26 years, 25,000 households have attended our classes and the number is growing!
In the early 1990's, Mark Pettyjohn was a national marketing director for a division Citi Group. He came to realize many people lacked the basic financial knowledge necessary to make informed decisions. In response, he authored his first financial class, “What I Didn’t Learn About Money in High School.”
Mark began sharing his class with family, friends, and neighbors. Soon word of mouth began attracting more and more students. Ultimately, over 25,000 households have attended classes taught by Mark and his team.
Hundreds of businesses and churches took advantage of the course to help their people improve their financial knowledge and security. Many graduates experienced life-changing results from applying the financial principals learned.
Responding to requests from previous graduates, in 2012 Mark began developing a holistic retirement workshop called Retirement Peace University.
Given the fact that over 50 million baby boomers are planning to retire in the next 10 years, Mark looks forward to another busy decade.*
